An independent private institution, rooted in Marechkawick, Lenapehoking.

The Marechkawick Polytechnic Institute is an independent private institution. It stands on the ground now called Brooklyn, New York — Marechkawick, in Lenapehoking — and it answers to the standard it has set for itself: proof.

The Institute does not confer degrees, nor any title regulated by the State. It confers recognition based on proof — coursework examined checkpoint by checkpoint, work product demonstrated and recorded, every credential entered permanently in the Institute's public register, where anyone on earth may verify it.

The Laureation

The Institute is developing the laureation: a recognition of its own creation, conferred at a level equal to — and surpassing — the doctorate, for bodies of original work. It is not an academic degree and does not claim to be one. It fills a void left blaringly open: the authors and inventors who toil in white papers and patents — the only professions named in the Constitution of the United States — have no institution that honors that work with a credential worthy of it. This one will.

The Institute is open to any and every person who presents rigorous, merited work of a brilliant and useful nature. Work that deserves credit receives it, regardless of origin. Intellectual liberty shall remain the domain of everyone.

What an MPI Credential Is — and Is Not

An MPI credential is

  • Earned — by examination passed at 80% or higher, or by proven work product
  • Signed under an honesty pledge, in the student's full legal name
  • Recorded permanently by the Office of the Registrar
  • Publicly verifiable by certificate number at the Institute's verification page

    • An MPI credential is not

  • An academic degree or academic credit
  • A professional license or authorization to practice a regulated profession
  • An Autodesk or other software-vendor certification
  • Honorary — no MPI credential is ever conferred without proof

    Enrollment, records, credentials, and student matters are handled by the Office of the Registrar: registrar@marechkawick.institute. Payment for all courses is handled securely by Shopify at the BG Latitude register; the Institute and BG Latitude operate in partnership, headquartered in New York City. Certificates may be verified at any time at the Institute's public verification page.
